Will a standard dimmer work with my LED globes?

Not always. Standard trailing-edge dimmers designed for halogen globes can cause LED globes to flicker, buzz or fail to dim smoothly. LED-compatible (leading-edge or universal) dimmers are required for LED lighting. We'll check your globes and recommend the right dimmer type before installing.

Can you install two-way switching?

Yes. Two-way (and three-way) switching allows you to control a single light from multiple locations — common in hallways, bedrooms with en-suites, and stairways. We install and configure multi-way switch setups for new builds and existing homes.

Can I replace switches myself in WA?

No. Replacing or installing electrical switches involves working with mains wiring and must be done by a licensed electrician in Western Australia. IES provides fast, affordable switch upgrades with upfront pricing.

Do you install smart home switches?
