We recommend having your air conditioner professionally serviced once a year. Regular servicing keeps the system running efficiently, extends its lifespan, and helps identify small issues before they become expensive repairs. For ducted systems with evaporative components, twice-yearly servicing may be advisable.

The right system size depends on the room's floor area, ceiling height, insulation, window area, and orientation. As a rough guide, a 2.5kW unit suits a small room (~15m²), a 3.5kW unit suits a medium room (~20-25m²), and a 5kW unit suits a larger room or open-plan area (~30-40m²). Our team will calculate the correct size during a free site assessment.

We install and service all major brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, LG and Samsung. Each brand has strengths depending on your application and budget. We'll give you honest advice on the best option for your specific situation — we're not tied to any single brand.

A standard single-head split system installation typically takes 2–4 hours. Multi-head or ducted installations take longer depending on the number of zones and complexity of the ductwork. We'll give you a clear timeframe during the quoting process.

IES supplies and installs — you don't need to source the unit yourself. We carry stock of the most popular models and can order specific units on request. Supply-and-install is typically more cost-effective than buying separately because we purchase at trade pricing.
